Ballet for all ages and levels.

Whether you are a beginner or have danced before, with us you will find the perfect space to experience ballet with joy and professionalism. Our classes are aimed at adults of all ages who want to discover or rekindle their passion for dance.
Ballet improves balance, coordination, and explosive power—ideal for preventing falls and as a holistic training method to combat physical and mental decline. An elegant way to stay fit and flexible!
Each class is accompanied by beautiful classical music. The harmonious interplay of movement and melody makes training a joyful experience.
We teach according to the Vaganova method, the official educational guideline for classical dance at state ballet schools in Germany. This proven technique promotes precision, grace, and artistic expression.

Sima Bürgin
At the age of four, Sima was already performing at the renowned Rosmarie Metzenthin Children’s and Youth Theater in Zurich, where she gained her first stage experience. In addition to theater, ballet, and acrobatics lessons, she was also encouraged to learn the violin and piano.
At the age of 19, Sima graduated from the Cantonal School of Wiedikon in Zurich with a Type B Federal Matura. Tired of years of “cramming Latin,” she decided against her planned medical studies and went to Budapest in the former Eastern Bloc to study classical ballet at the State Ballet Institute (Àllami Ballet Intézet) using the world-famous Vaganova method. Her passion for ballet took her to cities such as Geneva, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Ulm. At the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, where she appeared in many ballet and opera productions until 1995, she even danced in Volker Schlöndorff’s production of “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk” to her own choreography.
Remaining true to her love of dance, Sima completed a Master of Advanced Studies in Dance Education at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in 2009, where she subsequently taught pre-ballet students as a guest lecturer and was a lecturer at the Tanz Akademie Zürich (taZ), where she was responsible for the preliminary studies program and the subject “Intercultural Competence.”
Sima also continues to work at various music schools, dance and gymnastics studios as a dance teacher and Pilates trainer.
