  • Luca Niccolini

    INSTRUCTOR

    Specializations:
    Pilates Mat

Luca's journey with Pilates began unexpectedly in 2017 during a visit to his family in Italy. It was there that he had a chance encounter with Pilates when his mother, a devoted practitioner, suggested he attend a class. Little did he know that this encounter would be a revelation. Luca was immediately captivated by the precision, strength, and intense concentration that Pilates demanded, as well as its unique ability to foster a deep connection with oneself.

As Luca delved deeper into Pilates, he discovered its remarkable benefits for his other athletic pursuits, including CrossFit, endurance sports, and swimming. The tangible improvements in his performance convinced him of Pilates' transformative power.

While jet-setting around the world for his aerospace business, Luca took the opportunity to earn his mat certification through BASI® Pilates in 2019, in London. During the challenging times brought about by the pandemic, he committed himself to online training, ensuring that his friends and relatives stayed active and connected, despite the challenging circumstances.

What truly sets Luca apart is his insatiable curiosity about the intersection of physiology and psychology. He is deeply interested in exploring how movement can serve as a therapeutic tool for managing anxiety and the demands of daily life. Luca is also dedicated to understanding how trauma can manifest in the body and how mindset can be cultivated through movement. His ultimate goal is to guide others towards longevity, vitality, and mental agility through the transformative power of Pilates.
